Greenplans Film

Promoting systematic, comprehensive and integrated programs that solve environmental problems are what greenplansfilm.org is all about. Seamlessly integrating the film into the website required a comprehensive partnership between Versant Media, Incombustible Designs, and Hazel Consulting. For those familiar with the Drupal Content Management Framework that greenplansfilm.org is built upon here are the architecture design bits. We created Custom Content Types (CCK) to help manage the clients creation of content for site. These included the shortcut lists and sister site links on the front page. This provides the client the ability to update the information thats displayed on the front, without having to hire use to re-theme the page. Additionally inside the site there are sidebar links and thumbnail images that are linked to the content on each page. This allows the client to create some links around, "climate change" for example, tag a page or group of pages as related to "climate change", and then whenever a site visitor views one of these pages, relevant links are displayed.
